We now have the special hardware blocker boards for the cards that are fixed under SETUP MODE 3. This special hardware blocker is for those cards that are reset failed cards that were thought otherwise DEAD!
These are the cards that have the boot sector trashed and cannot be fixed by any other means, except with software and with the special hardware blocker... You can now bring these cards back to life.
Please note that you have to be able to program these cards 100% under SETUP MODE 3
of SU2 software in order for you to use this special hardware blocker and take full advantage of it.
If your H card was ECM'd on January 21, we now have a solution for you. Just put your programmed H card into our Bootstrap loader. Put the bootstrap loader in your receiver, and watch TV again! If your H card was loaded with software before the
ECM, you don't need to do anything. If you have a basic ISO programmer and Basic H 3.2, you can put the bootstrap loader in your programmer, (with the H card inserted) and add files, change time zones, etc, just like before. The ECM'd H cards will need to be put in a flashed SU2
unlooper, unlooped, then put in the ISO programmer to be reprogrammed. The H-card bootstrap loader work in most DSS
receivers, except the newer 5th Generation types and some older Hughes receivers.
